When You Know What You Need…

But Still Can't Seem to Do It

A free live session with Karen Pitt

You know what would help.

You know what you'd rather do.

And yet, in the moment, you sometimes find yourself doing something else.

Let's explore why that happens—and what can help you create more choice in those moments.

Choose the session that works best for you:

Thursday, September 3 · 7:00 PM

OR

Tuesday, September 15 · 7:00 PM

Both sessions cover the same material. Choose whichever date works best for you.

Does this sound familiar?

You know what you want to do differently.

You know what might help.

But when the moment arrives, you find yourself falling back into a familiar pattern anyway.

Maybe you reach for food when you're stressed, tired, bored, or simply looking for a break.

And afterwards, you might wonder:

“Why did I do that when I knew what I really wanted?”

You're not alone.

Knowing what you want and actually doing it aren't always the same thing.

In this live session, we'll explore:

1. The gap between knowing and doing

Why knowing what you need doesn't always translate into doing it.

2. What's happening in the moment

What may really be happening when you automatically reach for the familiar response.

3. Creating more choice

How to create a little more space and choice before moving into that familiar pattern.

No food rules. No “perfect” choices. No willpower test.

Just a practical conversation about understanding the space between knowing and doing.

You may leave with a different way of looking at those moments.

Instead of simply asking:

Why can't I just do what I know I should do?”

You'll begin to look at what is actually happening in the moments when the familiar response takes over.

You'll have a simple framework for slowing things down, becoming more aware of what you're looking for, and creating more choice in what happens next.

This session may be especially helpful if you:

  • Know what you'd like to do differently with food but struggle to follow through

  • Find yourself eating automatically in certain situations

  • Reach for food when you're stressed, tired, bored, or looking for a break

  • Feel frustrated because you already know what you're “supposed” to do

  • Want a different approach than more rules, restriction, or willpower

You don't need to have emotional eating “figured out” to join us.

Just come curious.
